Privacy, simply explained.

Browser saving and account saving

The hearts keep a shortlist in this browser. Choosing Save my collection also stores your favourite product IDs and saved search words and categories in a private account record, linked to your signed-in identity. We store the dates and version of each update so a save from another tab does not silently replace yours.

Email preferences

An email address is stored only when you submit the email form and tick its permission box. We record the permission wording and date. Email alerts are not active yet. Before messages start, your address will need confirmation; saving an address today does not confirm a subscription. Pending email preferences are removed after 30 days if the service has not launched.

Keep, remove or delete

Remove an individual search from your account panel, remove your email preference or choose Delete account data to erase your account collection, searches and email preference. This does not erase a separate browser shortlist; use Clear saved ideas for that. Pending preferences that expire are cleared the next time your account is accessed.

Where information goes

Account records are stored in this website’s server-side database. They are not included in website pages, public files or our planning spreadsheet. Each account can access only its own records. We do not record email addresses in application logs. Google sign-in and an email delivery service are awaiting connection; no alerts are sent by this version.

Analytics and cookie choices

Necessary storage keeps the site secure, remembers your cookie choice and supports features you choose, such as saved ideas and sign-in. It stays enabled. Google Analytics is separate and optional: it loads only if you choose Accept, or switch it on in Customise and choose Save preferences. It measures visits, viewed products and clicks to Etsy; it does not receive your saved searches, account details, email preferences or Etsy purchase records. Advertising features are disabled. To use necessary storage only, choose Customise, leave Google Analytics unticked and save. You can change your preference at any time with Cookie choices in the footer. We remember your choice in this browser for six months; if you withdraw permission, we stop Analytics and remove its first-party cookies.

Google processes consented analytics information under its published privacy information. Etsy purchases take place separately, so an Etsy click is not evidence of a sale.

Purchases and help

Etsy handles purchases and purchased-file access under its own policies. This account system does not store payment details, order history or purchased files. For a privacy question, contact DigiDocDownloads through our Etsy shop. Please avoid including payment information.
