Open the gates to a world of tiny stories!
Castles Around the World combines beautiful colouring artwork, fascinating history, hidden characters and drawing lessons in one 29-page illustrated adventure.
Explore Bodiam, Caernarfon, Carcassonne, Malbork, Himeji and Amber. Each castle has three pages: a colourful fact sheet with a modern country map, a full-page colour illustration, and its matching colouring scene. Enjoy the examples, then choose colours of your own.
Find Tommy the cat, Quill the goose and Kit the explorer. Keep creating with “Draw Your Own!”: Japanese roof curves, a palace arch, two towers, an arched doorway, a waving flag. A colourful world atlas, labelled castle plan and your own castle-design page complete the adventure.
• One A4 landscape PDF, 29 pages
• Six detailed main colouring scenes and six colour examples
• Six fact sheets, four drawing-lesson pages and 22 linked references
• Best for ages 8+, families, teens and adults
• Personal and household printing only
Digital download only. No physical book or supplies will be sent. Younger children may enjoy help with smaller details. Colours vary between screens and printers.
The travelling companions and little stories are fictional; historical sources are included. Modern country maps show where the castles are today; dated notes explain the historical context.

A little practical help
What settings should I use?
Read the printing guide in your chosen product first. Check the paper size, orientation and scale in the print preview. Plot Twist and Japanese Writing Paper specify A4 at Actual Size; Castles of England uses landscape A4 pages. Print one page and check it before making the full batch.
Which paper should I choose?
Start with a sheet your printer supports. Test your pens or pencils on it before printing a batch. For cards or keepsakes, check the printer’s paper-weight limit before using thicker stock. Do not assume a home printer can handle every craft paper.
How do I download an Etsy purchase?
