Full Etsy listing description
Six biscuits. A table full of opinions. The Great Biscuit Ballot turns an ordinary tea break into a lively blind tasting party, with proper scorecards and plenty of cheerful debate. Designed for 4-12 players plus a host, the complete 24-page A4 PDF gives you a ready-to-run evening of around 60 minutes. A shorter tasting-and-voting route takes about 30 minutes. Use your own choice of six biscuit types, including suitable options for your guests. Inside the pack: - Host quick start, preparation notes and an hour-long running order - Secret biscuit and price key, six numbered labels and a tasting mat - Tasting scorecard, biscuit guesses and a price-per-100-g detective round - Four cut-apart ballot slips and a host tally sheet - An optional dunk experiment and creative biscuit-pitch game - 24 original cut-apart conversation cards - A 12-word scramble and eight-question biscuit quiz - Answer notes, extra biscuit facts and clickable reading sources - Four award cards, invitation, table sign and evening keepsake Warm cream, berry-red gingham and playful biscuit illustrations give the whole evening a coordinated tea-table look. Ideal for friends' nights, birthdays, tea parties, social clubs and relaxed family gatherings. The games are written with an adult audience in mind. You will need six biscuit types, serving plates, individual plates, water, pencils and a printer. Scissors are useful for cards and labels. The optional dunk experiment uses identical cups, room-temperature water and a timer. Ingredient checks come before tasting; guests can skip any sample. The host may taste and vote, but should sit out the guessing prizes if they know the key. Print only the pages you need and extra player sheets for your group. This is a fixed-layout printable PDF; it does not contain editable templates or fillable form fields.

Set up The Great Biscuit Ballot

  1. Choose the 30-minute tasting-and-voting route or the complete hour, then select six biscuit types that suit your guests and check every ingredient label.
  2. Print the A4 host and player pages you need, number the samples and gather serving plates, individual plates, water, pencils and optional scissors.
  3. Run the blind tasting, guesses, ballots and chosen extra games. Guests can skip any sample; if the host knows the key, keep them out of the guessing prizes.

A little practical help

What settings should I use?

Read the printing guide in your chosen product first. Check the paper size, orientation and scale in the print preview. Plot Twist and Japanese Writing Paper specify A4 at Actual Size; Castles of England uses landscape A4 pages. Print one page and check it before making the full batch.

Which paper should I choose?

Start with a sheet your printer supports. Test your pens or pencils on it before printing a batch. For cards or keepsakes, check the printer’s paper-weight limit before using thicker stock. Do not assume a home printer can handle every craft paper.
