The Acorn Club Autumn Nature Journal

Turn a small autumn walk into a big adventure with The Acorn Club. Hazel the squirrel welcomes young explorers to an illustrated journal full of things to notice, draw, wonder about and remember. Inside the 24-page journal: • A walk passport and autumn colour hunt • A fallen-leaf rubbing lab and two-leaf comparison • A sound map, seven-day weather record and tiny-world study • An animal clue desk that separates observations from guesses • 20 researched facts about leaves, seeds, grey squirrels, hedgehogs and European robins • A 12-word hunt, six woodland riddles and an eight-question quiz • A four-panel comic, woodland memory map and explorer certificate • A grown-up guide, puzzle answers and linked reading sources Created for ages 6–10 to explore with a grown-up. Children can draw, write, dictate or talk about their discoveries. Choose a familiar park, garden or woodland path; on a rainy day, try observing through a window. Rich woodland illustrations, warm autumn colours and generous drawing spaces make every page feel like part of the adventure.
